There's ADD, there's ADHD and then there's Jacob.

Besides performing, what other talents do you have?
Eating and sleeping.

What are your goals in life?
To start my own construction business or own a low-budget motel chain across the country.

My definition of a Canadian Idol is:
The coolest kid in school, on a much greater degree.

Who is your Canadian Idol?
Matthew Good because he's an awesome song writer and musician.

Who in the Canadian Idol Top 11 did you identify with the most?
I don't know. I've still never seen the show.

What are your greatest strengths entering this competition?
Personality and confidence.

What is your biggest fear regarding this competition?
Getting lost in Toronto. I forget things easily like where I am at this exact moment.

If you don't make it on Canadian Idol, what will you do?
I think I'll just keep working and writing music. Nothing much will change.

How would your life change if you were to become Canadian Idol?
I'm sure less people would swerve to hit puddles on the side of the road as I walked on the sidewalks. Probably the only thing that would change would be the amount of time I put into it.

Jacob was born in Burnaby BC in 1984. Then in 1986 his baby sister, Amanda was born and that?s when they moved into their home in Surrey where the kids grew up. Last fall, at age 19 Jacob moved out to Abbotsford and is currently living there. He will turn 20 in July. the young man is Italian on his mamma?s side and then his Dad?s side is Irish, Scottish and English, poor guy what a mixture. He?s got an incredible sense of humor a loud voice, strong temper, a gentle attitude and good looks (but not necessarily in that order.)

Jacob was always a very easy-going little guy, he loved being around other kids, and other kids were quick to follow him around and become his friends. He?s got a really good heart; he has always given things away. When he was little it was his toys, then he grew up and it became his money, his time, and other things that were very significant to him. Many often wonder why he?s so nuttso or in other words ?What?s wrong with that kid?? His craziness comes from his mamma?s side of the family?very genuine and very nutty. Both his Nonno and Nonna are quite the characters themselves.

He attended Senator Reid elementary and L.A. Matheson High School. Believe it or not Jacob even taught Sunday school to 3 & 4 year olds, they really loved their Uncle Jake. Jacob is currently apprenticing to become a carpenter/farmer. His boss and teacher Charlie has been very instrumental in encouraging him and standing by him; ?Thanks Charlie, for being there for him!!? Jacob has always loved to build, when he was very young we started him with Legos and he would spend hours building the strangest and most intriguing things. He has found himself doing something that has always been one of his many passions. It is his childhood love of Legos on a much larger scale (and somewhat more realistic).

Jacob?s love of music was introduced to him at a very early age. Music is on both sides of our family. With Great-Grandparents playing guitar and Grandparents singing in quartets and having amazing tenor voices, aunts playing and teaching piano; ?Thanks Zia Elvira for those early doses of piano lessons??and parents both in choirs and soloing, it really is a genetic thing. Jacob even taught himself to play the guitar after piano lessons were over?and writing music has been an incredible outlet for him. We taught Jacob a love for all music?his repertoire is really spread out?he does enjoy a wide variety of music genres?Because this is really what our world is made of, DIFFERENCES; it makes life interesting and spicy!

Today he has a wonderful young lady by his side?her name is Tammy.
